Loan Referral Programme – Terms & Conditions

What is the promotion about?

As part of the Suttons and Robertsons (a trading name of HOPKINS & JONES LIMITED) Referral Programme, we are offering existing and past customers the opportunity to refer other clients to Suttons and Robertsons and to receive a cash reward. This is an opportunity for the person making the referral (the ‘Referrer’) to receive a cash reward as a thank you for a successful referral.

The individual being referred (the ‘Referee’) is the ‘client’ who takes out a loan with Suttons and Robertsons under the terms of the Referral Programme and does not receive any cash reward.

Please read the Terms and Conditions below carefully.

This promotion is available for new loan referrals received after 3rd April 2025 and will run indefinitely.

Both the Referrer and the Referee must fully meet all the requirements outlined for the Referrer to receive the cash reward.

What is the reward?

The cash reward that the Referrer will receive if they fully meet all the requirements depends on the value of the new loan taken out by the Referee, as set out below.

By way of example:

If the Referrer and the Referee fully meet all the requirements, the Referrer will receive the cash value of one month of interest. If the Referee’s loan value were £10,000, the Referrer would be entitled to receive a cash reward of £600.

Cash rewards on Referee loan values above £100,000 are negotiable. Please get in touch with our customer service team or speak to a store manager.

The cash reward will be issued via bank transfer, and Referrers must complete our ‘Bank Transfer’ form to receive payment.

Who is eligible for the promotion?

To be eligible for this promotion:

• Both the Referrer and the Referee must be over 18 years old.
• Both the Referrer and the Referee must have a UK bank account.
• The Referrer must be an existing or past Suttons and Robertsons customer.
• The Referee must be a new customer. If the Referee is currently a Suttons and Robertsons customer or has been in the past, or the Referee has enquired about our services, this is not eligible.
• The Referee cannot reside at the same address as the Referrer.
• The Referee cannot be an immediate family member (spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents).
• The Referrer must only provide the Referee’s contact details and must not discuss or advise on loan terms.
• Referrers must not be FCA Approved Persons listed on the FCA Register.
• The Referrer must disclose the commission payment to the Referee.

How does the Referrer earn the reward?

For the Referrer to receive the cash reward, the Referrer must meet the eligibility requirements set out here.

The Referrer must either complete this website form with their details and the Referee’s details (name, address and contact details) or provide them to our customer service team before proceeding with the loan.

The Referrer can make a one-off referral to Suttons and Robertsons. If you wish to refer more clients beyond this limit, you must apply and be approved for our introducer programme. Please get in contact with our customer service team by emailing services@suttonsandrobertsons.com.

The cash reward will be paid to the Referrer after the loan has been active for 28 days.

What other information should I know?

1. This promotion can be amended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
2. This promotion is a one-sided campaign where the Referrer can receive a cash reward.
3. The Referrer will not be eligible for the cash reward if the loan is redeemed within 28 days of the loan start date.
4. The Referrer will only be eligible for the cash reward if the loan is active 28 days after the start date.
5. The Referee’s minimum loan value is £500, and the maximum is £100,000. Referee cash rewards on loan values above £100,000 are negotiable with our customer service team.
6. The cash reward will only be awarded to successful referrals where the Referee is a new customer of Suttons and Robertsons.
7. Suttons and Robertsons must handle the Referrer’s and Referee’s personal data to carry out its obligations under these terms and conditions.
8. This promotion only applies to loans with the interest rates outlined in these terms.
9. The monthly interest rates are subject to change.
10. This promotion can’t be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
11. This promotion is not open to employees or immediate family members of Suttons and Robertsons (including spouse, children, parents, siblings, and grandparents), its parent or subsidiary companies.

Breach of Terms and Conditions

1. Suttons and Robertsons have the right to refuse to pay you the referral fee if we suspect that the Referrer or Referee have not used the Referral Programme in good faith or has breached the Terms and Conditions.
2. Suttons and Robertsons will determine, at its sole discretion whether there has been a breach of the Terms and Conditions. When a breach has occurred, Suttons and Robertsons reserve the right to terminate or suspend the referral programme at any time.
